Storage requirements for speed are largely driven by machine learning and artificial intelligence as well as gaming. These drives exceed 10GB/sec in read speed and 9.5GB/sec write speed, far more than what most people will need.
Video games and virtual reality worlds that incorporate large maps or high quality textures will benefit from these as well. I feel like it’s still a bit overkill for Eanix.net unless you were training your own machine learning models. I’m hoping some more AI/ML applications become available for personal use, such as DeepFakes, but hopefully something less dangerous.
